Flourmills Bahrain train it’s employees on Food Safety

Believing in the importance of training and developing the capabilities of its employees, and in an effort to create a professional team that has the ability to keep pace with everything that is new and modern in the field of food industries and to emphasize the quality of flour production and raise it to the required levels and international specifications, the “Bahrain Flour Mills Company” organized a first-level course in food safety In the field of catering at Highfield Accreditation from Britain in cooperation with the Leaders Institute for Training and Development. The course was attended by 18 employees of the company.
The Level 1 Certificate in Food Safety is a qualified training course for individuals working in the catering field who wish to join this industry. This certificate enables the trainees to be more aware that the responsibility for maintaining food safety is divided into four stages, starting with storage and then preparation, followed by the stage of food cooking and ending with food distribution. The course material covers all topics that align with the Food Standards Agency as important to ensure knowledge of successful food practices and productivity.
Mr. Ghaleb Al-Araibi, Director of the Leaders Institute for Training and Development, praised the Bahrain Flour Mills Company’s efforts to obtain the ISO 22000 (FSSC 22000) international certificate for food safety management, as well as the HACCP system for the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points system, which is considered a Evidence of the company’s commitment to applying the standards of specifications, which ensures the existence of a sustainable management system that achieves food safety management and is backed by an internal audit team to follow up on the applications of the system.
